NCPweb is a web-based frontend to Ncpfs and the Ncpfs Netware utilities for Linux. Please note that the last release, v0.1.2, was released on 9/16/2000. Since then, the project has been left unmaintained. It's in its infancy stages, but you can get a server list, login, do some simple stuff, and browse files successfully. I've got a lot planned for it, but finding the time to work on it is difficult. I'll hopefully have more of a webpage setup by the end of this week, and maybe a mailing list or two. It's released under the GNU GPL, of course. If you have interest in this project, please let me know, so I can devote more time to it. Download: ncpweb-0.1.1.tar.gz Install: it doesn't get much easier than this: Simply install ncpfs, untar this file into your cgi-bin, and point your web browser to netware1.cgi (part of the package). I threw in lines in the scripts to display some of Apache's pretty icons, so you may want to put those in a /icons directory at your web server's document root. Note: to browse files, you'll have to have ncpmount and ncpumount setuid root, which is somewhat less than completely secure. On top of that, user nobody is doing mounts in /tmp to do the actual filebrowsing. Just a little disclosure, in case these two things make you uneasy. Do I need help? In more ways than you can count. If you've got suggestions, drop me a line. Feel free to email me if you have any questions. While you're hanging around, why not check out LANdb, the project that takes up the *rest* of my free time. =) Changes in this release:
